This Privacy Policy describes how Pane Technologies, Inc. (“Pane,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit pane.tech (the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
The Site is a marketing website for Pane's business. We do not sell products or services directly through the Site. To inquire about Pane's products, please request a demo.

1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
When you interact with the Site, we may collect information you voluntarily provide, including:
- Demo requests: If you click a “Request a Demo” button or similar call to action, you are redirected to a Calendly scheduling page. When you schedule a demo through Calendly, you provide your name, email address, company, and any notes or meeting context you choose to share. Calendly collects this information directly and shares it with us as part of the booking.
- Email and other correspondence: If you contact us by email (for example, at privacy@pane.tech or legal@pane.tech), we receive the content of your message, your email address, and any other information you choose to include.
1.2 Information We Collect Automatically
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information, including:
- Log data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, timestamps, and session duration. This data is logged by our hosting provider (Vercel) for operational, security, and abuse-prevention purposes.
- Device information: device type, screen resolution, and browser language settings.
- Usage data: pages viewed and basic interaction events.

2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to demo requests and other inquiries.
- Schedule and confirm meetings through Calendly.

- Understand how visitors use the Site and improve its content and performance.

3.1 Service Providers
We share information with trusted third-party vendors who help us operate the Site:
- Vercel (vercel.com): hosts the Site and delivers content globally. Vercel receives server-log data (including IP address and request metadata) as part of hosting the Site.
- Calendly (calendly.com): provides demo scheduling. When you book a demo through Calendly, Calendly receives the information you submit through its form and shares the booking details with us.
Each of these providers processes your data under its own terms and privacy policy, subject to data processing agreements with us where required by law.
3.2 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or lawful government request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Pane, our customers, our visitors, or the public.
3.3 Business Transfers
If Pane is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the successor entity. We will notify you by a prominent notice on the Site before your information becomes subject to a materially different privacy policy.
3.4 With Your Consent
We may share your information for other purposes with your explicit consent.
4. Data Retention
- Demo request and correspondence records: retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry, follow up on a potential business relationship, or fulfill legal and record-keeping obligations.
- Server logs: retained by our hosting provider for up to 90 days for security and operational purposes.
We may retain anonymized or aggregated data indefinitely for analytical and product-improvement purposes.
5. Your Rights and Choices
5.1 Access, Correction, and Deletion
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you by contacting privacy@pane.tech. We will respond to verified requests within 30 days, subject to applicable legal and record-keeping exceptions.
5.2 Opt-Out of Marketing Communications
If you receive marketing or outreach emails from Pane, each email will include an unsubscribe link. You may also opt out by emailing privacy@pane.tech.
5.3 Data Portability
You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you in a structured, machine-readable format by contacting privacy@pane.tech. We will respond within 30 days.
6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies sparingly, limited to strictly necessary cookies required for the Site to function correctly. You cannot opt out of these cookies while using the Site.
We do not use cookies for cross-site targeted advertising. We do not share cookie data with advertising networks.

9.1 Categories of Personal Information Collected
In the prior 12 months, we have collected the following categories of personal information: identifiers (name, email address, IP address); commercial information (demo booking records); internet or other electronic network activity (browsing data, page-view events); and professional information you choose to share in connection with a demo request (for example, company name and role).
9.2 No Sale or Sharing of Personal Information
Pane does not sell your personal information, and we do not share your personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes.
9.3 Your California Rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to: (a) know what personal information we have collected about you; (b) request deletion of your personal information; (c) correct inaccurate personal information; (d) opt out of any future sale or sharing of your personal information; and (e) not be discriminated against for exercising your rights. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@pane.tech. We will respond within 45 days.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and post a prominent notice on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after the effective date of the updated Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
